Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. If you'd like to delete your OnTheWay account and associated data, please follow the steps below.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Send an email to onthewaay@icloud.com from the email address associated with your OnTheWay account.
- Use the subject line: Account Deletion Request
- Include your username or display name in the email body so we can locate your account.
- You will receive a confirmation email once your account and data have been deleted.
Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days of receipt.
What Data Is Deleted
Permanently deleted upon request:
- Account credentials (email, password)
- Profile information (username, display name, bio, profile photo)
- Demographic data (age range, gender, interests)
- Check-in history
- Reviews and ratings you submitted
- Friend connections and shared collections
- Flash offer claim history
- Notification preferences and device tokens
- Subscription and billing records
What Data May Be Retained
Retained for up to 90 days after deletion:
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (e.g., venue visit counts) that cannot be linked back to your identity
- Records required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution
After the retention period, all remaining data is permanently purged from our systems.
